Why does my Bamboo Swaddle UP™ look smaller than the Original Swaddle UP™?

Regarding the difference in size, we want to advise you that due to the nature of Bamboo fabric, this material has far more stretch than the material used in the original cotton Swaddle.

Detailed Answer

The Bamboo Swaddles have been specifically cut smaller than the other swaddles, to ensure that the Bamboo Swaddle doesn't stretch too much whilst on your baby, as this could pose as a safety risk.  The fabric stretches to almost double its size when stretched which helps reduce the risk of swaddling babies too tight. Therefore, if your Bamboo Swaddle is the correct weight for your baby, it shouldn’t be “too tight” although it does fit differently.

Please bear in mind that our various sized Love To Dream Swaddle UP's are especially designed to fit most babies from 3 - 11 kilos. We perform extensive pre-production trials and fittings to ensure our Swaddles are the correct fit across the board. The engineered stretch of the fabrics that we use, expand and contracts to fit most babies, while still providing enough resistance to perform one of the core jobs of swaddling (which is to subdue the startle reflex) yet still giving your baby good range of motion and encouraging good circulation while being swaddled.
