No, the Formula Pro Mini does not use boiling water to prepare a bottle.
The water tank of the Formula Pro Mini should ONLY be filled with bottled water suitable for infant formula preparation (distilled water), or pre-boiled water which has been cooled to room temperature.
Once boiled, water will be sterile for 24 hours so it is recommended that the water in the tank is replaced every day to ensure it remains fresh and clean.
If water above 70°C is poured into the water tank the error code E6 will display on the screen. It can be cleared by holding the power button for approximately 5 seconds. You will need to allow the water to cool fully to room temperature before switching the machine back on (maybe up to 24hrs).
