Why is there no quilting on the back of the SWADDLE UP™ Warm and Extra Warm?

When babies are in our SWADDLE UP™ it is important that they sleep on their back to reduce the risk of SIDS. Therefore there is no need for quilting on the backside of the swaddle as babies back is in constant contact with the sheet of the cot/crib. This does not affect the warmth of the garment.

This will differ in our Stage 2 and Stage 3 garments (SWADDLE UP™ transition bag/suit or LOVE TO DREAM SLEEP SUIT™) as babies are now able to roll onto their stomach, and quilting is therefore needed on the backside too.
