Inspect carefully before each use. Pull the soother in all directions. Throw away at the first signs of damage or weakness.
Sterilise the soother before use, using your preferred sterilisation method.
With the teat pointing upwards, put the soother into baby’s mouth. Your baby may suck on it straight away or need a few goes to learn how to use it. Don’t give up on the first attempt, try again when your baby is awake, not hungry but maybe unsettled. It can take a few tries before baby gets used to the teat.
The Qudo Soother won’t interfere with breast-feeding or bottle-feeding routines, so use it whenever your baby needs comforting.
Only use dedicated soother holders tested to EN 12586. Never attach other ribbons or cords to a soother, your child may be strangled by them. If using a heat sterilisation method for your Qudo Soother, ensure the teat and shield are cool before giving it to your baby.
