  4. The Qudo Soother

Instructions for use

Sterilise the soother before use, using your preferred sterilisation method. You can use sterilising liquid, microwave sterilisation devices, electric sterilisation devices or place Qudo Soother in boiling water for 5 minutes. When using any heat sterilisation method to sterilise Qudo Soother, ensure the teat and shield are cool before giving it to your baby.

We don’t recommend using a dishwasher for sterilising Qudo Soother or other baby products. Dishwashers don’t sterilise their contents as the wash temperature is generally 45 degrees. There are also chemicals in dishwasher tablets/granules and repeated use of dishwashers for baby products, including Qudo Soother, may lead to advanced deterioration.

Do not leave a soother in direct sunlight or near a source of heat or leave in disinfectant (“sterilising solution”) for longer than recommended, as this may weaken the teat.

Before first use, place the soother in boiling water for 5 min, allow to cool, and squeeze out any trapped water from the soother. This is to ensure hygiene.

Clean before every use. Keep away from sunlight and heat.

Never dip the teat in sweet substances or medication, your child may get tooth decay.

Replace the soother between one and two months of use, for safety and hygiene reasons.

In the event that the soother becomes lodged in the mouth, DO NOT PANIC; it cannot be swallowed and is designed to cope with such an event. Remove from the mouth with care, as gently as possible.
