If your Formula Pro Advanced is leaking, don’t worry it just needs a little reset! Empty the water tank, then give the machine a proper drain by following these easy steps:
- Double check that the water tank is in good condition with no visible damage
- Unplug the machine, remove the water tank and carefully turn it upside down over a sink
- Find the white cross-shaped seal where the water tank normally sits and gently push it down.
- You should see water start to come out of a small hole at the back of the machine, this is totally normal!
- Once the water stops flowing, the interior tank is fully empty.
Refill the water tank and place it back on the machine, then leave it alone for a couple of hours. After that, check to see if the machine is still leaking.
For an extra-deep clean, try this:
- Pop a Baby Brezza Universal Descaling tablet into a cup of hot water and let it fully dissolve
- Pour the mixture into the filled water tank and place it back on the machine
- Let it sit and work its magic for around four hours
- After that, run the normal descale
You may need to repeat this process a few times, but once all that stubborn limescale is gone. To keep your machine happy long-term, we recommend doing this once a month.
